I’m trying to get back to my roots and find a nice 1970 442 convertible or even a 442 pace car. The first cars I ever owned were two real w30 convertibles How I didn’t kill myself is beyond comprehension. I have been in the Buick world for a while having restored a real 70 GSX that won MCACN GOLD. I sold it several years ago. I am currently restoring a friends GSX and another friends real 72 442 w30 convertible. Those should be finished soon so I need something for myself. I’m recently retired and I may go out of my head if I don’t have something to work on. Whatever I get will receive the white glove treatment. It’s going to be a keeper to enjoy and enjoy retirement with. Not to be too picky but I’m looking for a Lansing built car and no AC!. I’m tired of working on AC systems in these cars. Also prefer Black bucket interior with dual gate. I’m not too particular if numbers are matching or not but I would hope it had a 455 and turbo 400. I’m not apposed to 4 speed either but I know that’s less likely. I looked at a 70 Pace car recently and it was just too crusty. Floors were gone. I don’t mind some work but I don’t want to deal with another rust bucket. If it needed some panel repair that’s fine. If you have too many projects and have something you will part with I may be your guy. The wife gave me the green light on this so I don’t want to pass this up.
