Thumbs up Wanted: 69 Hurst/Olds

Hi everyone!

I've been browsing through some of the posts here, I watched some Mecum and eBay auctions, found some outdated ads all over the net ... but no up to date and affordable offers.

I'm looking for a 69 Hurst/Olds that is eventually really to sell. Condition does not matter - price however does! I can't spend more than $50k. #'s matching is appreciated, but not required.

If you have any advice, if you know someone who sells, anything goes.

Thanks!
Mike

Thanks a lot for this hint! I tried to get in touch with the user here on the board, however no reply yet. Do you have some more details, that are not covered in the thread?

Thanks!

The Car was bought local from lindahl olds largest olds dealer back in the day now owned my wally mcarthies . The current owner got the car from a dealer called the toy store. The car had some bodywork and a re paint back in the 90's like it said . From info I got from the seller
it might need another repaint to be a steller show car again. Moter was built by fizzy 55 . Ken own's a engine shop total engine here in mn.

Did the H/O's come with the broadcast cards and build sheets? I didnt think they did due to they were built in Lansing...

And if that is the case its not like people would need to fake that stuff because of the Demmer list....

On Mecum all Hursts were sold for more than 75k ...not quite my budget.
I just found #293. Anyone knows the car? They have another one ... For 135k.

That would be interesting to put the two of those side by side and see what constitutes and 245% price difference.

3 on his side 3 on her side come on tom It has the what looks like the right intake or a repop from Chrise. The dual gate wood top is from a 68 or a pontiac not the burl wood 69's have, but what a sweet looking ride.

I may be going to look at one today. I'll get pix & info if possible. I was told it is a Hurricane Sandy car & that water got up to the brake booster. Hopefully I'll know a bit more later today.
