Wanted: '62 F85/Cutlass Convertible
Wanted: '62 F85/Cutlass Convertible
I know, needle in a haystack but thought I'd give it a shot.
Looking for either the '62 F85 or Cutlass version convertible with automatic transmission. Needs to be a 3.5 to 4 in terms of condition on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being show.
Any leads would also be helpful.
Thanks everyone.

Have you seen this one. It has been for sale for a very long time. Maybe he would work on the price by now.

Here is another one that has been for sale for a very long time. It is auto and A/C. We considered this one in 2011 but they were to high priced at the time. Looks like they lowered the price since then. May still be a little on the high side.

If you use searchtempest.com to search craigslist you can search pretty much the entire US if you don't mind shipping a car. I bought and sold kit cars for a while for me it was the best way to find them.

This one was on e-bay earlier this month, now marked as "ended" (versus "sold" or "ended because no longer available", so possible he still has it. You could message the seller via e-bay to find out, if it is close to what you want.

I'm blown away by all of the help. Thanks guys.
Yeah, I saw that one at Gateway Classics but it sold a while ago. That page keeps coming up making one think it's still available.
One or two of the craigslist cars might work. I'll investigate. And, the searchtempest.com info is great! Never new that.
I'm looking for a car that requires little to no work and am willing to pay good dollars for it. On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being show, I'm looking for a 4. I know, picky...picky. Just don't want to do any or little work.
If anyone sees anything else, let me know. I'll repost on anything I pursue.
Thanks again everyone!
