Want To Buy 1970,1971, 1972 Convertible Cutlass or 442
I want to buy a Convertible Cutlass or 442 in either 1970,1971, 1972 years only. These are the only years im interested in and Only Convertibles. Im looking for something that is running but a project that is not running is fine also. I live in the Atlanta area and will be willing to drive and pick the car up. I would also perfer the 442 but will accept the Cutlass as well. If anyone knows of any other sites or locations I can access that will assist me in finding my dream car please feel free to share that information, it will be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to email your prictures or any information to mahlonmartin@yahoo.com

How much of a project?
There's a running '72 up the road from me for $3500. Been sitting in a barn for about ten years and has critters and rust but not bad for a car around here. The car has a 350 auto, console with Camaro? buckets but has the originals and they aren't bad cores, tilt, air, ps, pb. Vigilite indicators on the front fenders but don't think Olds offered that option, looks cool. The frame is okay with some rust dimpling, surprised the core support was good under the battery. Otherwise it's beat, was hippieized in the 70's.
I have to go that way later and will try to get some pics, good for a few laughs anyway.
I'll probaby end up buying it if it sits there long enough and I can beat him down to 2 grand, was looking at cars online and it may actually be not too bad of a car or deal. Probably not though, my wife gives me the "look" when I even mention it. You should have seen her when we stopped and look at it, the evil eye she gave me when I asked how much could of burned holes through concrete.
