NEEDED: Cheap, rust free '70-72 Vista Cruiser Rolling Chassis
NEEDED: Cheap, rust free '70-72 Vista Cruiser Rolling Chassis
I am in desperate need for a very dry, very cheap '70-72 Vista Cruiser rolling chassis. I have a '71 that runs like a dream in desperate need of a facelift (well, a face lift, tummy tuck, you get the idea. It's REALLY rusty.) I would prefer the following in this parts car:
A thru-rust free body ( surface rust in moderation might be ok)
Clean Frame
Dry spare tire well and tool well
Dry Tailgate (power preferred)
Clean Back bumper
Dry Fenders
A hood. Just a hood. Any hood, as long as it fits.
All glass intact.
350 car (don;t need an engine or tranny, but if price is right, I'd take it)
If the car is a 455 with a 4-gear from the factory, I want the whole car.
A car that has/had AC would be ideal.
It does Not necessarily need to have the following:
An engine
A Transmission
An exhaust system
Functional brakes
Good tires
An uncracked dashboard
Nose (stone shield, grilles, etc.)
Front bumper (But will take if attatched to car. Could use one for my mother's 72 cutlass.)
A brown interior in good condition is a plus, as is a functioning air conditioning system.
A car less than 1000 with an owner willing to be patient while I scrape the money together is ideal. I am an Auto Restoration Major at McPherson college in Kansas and money is very tight. I have had three of these sold out from under me already (well, sold to somebody before I could get money together) and can't afford to lose out again. Thank you!
