Hello fellow Olds Enthusiasts....Recently sold my 72 Corvette Convertible and looking to return to the Olds experience. Have owned 3 Olds machines over the last 25 years and its time for one again. I'm located in Central Jersey and have 15,000 to 20,000 budget for this purchase. Would consider Convert or hardtop and 455 is a plus and W25 hood never hurts. Don't mind a little body and or paint work but full blown projects are beyond my skillset. Please let me know what you have and lets see if we can get together on something. Thanks Very Much

Deane, '72 Vette convertibles are gorgeous! Must've been tough to part with it. Have you checked https://classics.autotrader.com/, Hemmings, Ebay motors or Craigslist? You may have to go outside your area. The only advice I can give is before you buy, personally inspect the car take pictures and post on this site. There are many scams going on out there. Be patient, Good luck.

IDK how far into NJ you are but LI Olds Club has their annual dustoff on 7.22 in Merrick NY. Dustoff taking place in July due to two rainouts

Braeger Chevrolet in Milwaukee has a beautiful convertible available....maybe out of your price range, but if you check it out maybe you will come up with the extra $$$$$$$$$? Good luck in your search.

I have a 1972 Cutlass 442 Clone Convertible for sale. If you go to Streetside Classics Tampa (https://www.streetsideclassics.com/v...42-convertible) where I have it on consignment you can see detailed pictures and video of the vehicle. I am looking to get 25K for the vehicle.

 

I know of a 70 cutlass supreme convertible that was cloned into a 442 (auto/AC). Car has been repainted blue with black top and interior. Car was from the west coast and no rust. Just finishing restoration but will be closer to $30,000 if interested. Its a really nice car.
