I am looking for a 80s Monte Carlo SS body or car with motor & trans to buy. I stay in illinios area.

 

They're still out there, but the nice ones are really really nice and $$$ to match, and the rest are usually pretty rough. A lot of them have been modified with paint and rims to where you can barely tell they're an SS anymore.

 

I think that you may have better success on a G-body specific forum.
