Looking For A 1964 Jade Green Cutlass Convertible

Looking For A 1964 Jade Green Cutlass Convertible My first car was a 1964 Cutlass Convertible. You can see my car in the picture. It was Jade Mist Metallic w/ Dark Green interior, 330 / 290 engine, Jet-away transmission, etc. I have seen a couple for sale over the past few years and would like to buy another one. I'm looking for one in the original color combination that would need little if any work done. If you know of anyone having a good quality model in the described finish out there please give me a post. Thanks, Dan

You're significantly reducing your chances of finding a nice one by insisting on a specific color. If you find a good candidate but it's brown or something, maybe you should consider painting it.

x2, you've been at this for 3 years. The true definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.

Oh, I agree. I bought another '64 back in 1983. It was a different color but at least had the same green interior. I'm just too lazy now to go through a total redoing. But, you're right, if I could find another color with the green interior I would be interested. You just can't find the green material today. Thanks for the suggestion. BTW, Your '69 ragtop looks good!

Thanks. It started life brown ("Sable") but the PO preferred Crimson. Can't say I disagree.

Hi Dan, I recently acquired a convertible in WI that was originally Jade Mist on green. Do you have the vin number on any old documents? Would be very cool if this turned out to be your old car! It is currently dark blue, redone in the 90s and I am currently doing a light re-restoration but no paint for now.
