Don't know your location, but there is a decent looking one in Staten Island on Craigslist. It is white with red top and interior. Priced at $8,500. GLWYS!

They made 5,540# of the Dynamic convertible in 1966. How many are left, who knows? I always like their looks. To find a red/red one may be hard but one never knows. I have a solid white one stored in one of my buildings that I always planned on fixing up. The downside is they are money pits but seeing how your Dad had one, I can understand why he would want the same car. Good luck.

 

searching for the exact color combo might be narrowing your search a little too much because these cars are far and few between,when i took mine to the olds centennial in lansing there were only two other 66 dynamic convertibles,a white and a blue to go with my red one. i had a red on red convert for sale last year and unfortunately no one here wanted it and it went to sweden.don't give up, these cars are awesome to own and drive. good luck with your search.

 

Government vehicle scrappage rate statistics say roughly 1%. Perhaps a few more in this case because we're talking convertibles. One percent of total production is 55. Perhaps 50 to 100 are left? Maybe a few more.
