Help me find this car!!!

I am the regretful former owner of this 1973 Cutlass.

I want to own it again!!!

It was sold to someone in a Northwest Chicago suburb in 1998 or 1999 if my memory serves.

Bone stock original with miles in the 50K range.

If anyone has any information on this car, please feel free to contact me.

Bob

If you have the VIN, you might be able to find it through your states Department of Motor Vehicles or whatever Illinois calls their vehicle registration dept. Even in Texas, if you have an old license number, they can trace the history on it.

google VIN too, you never know what might show up

I have epay search set up to notify me if my car's original engine [VIN derivative] ever shows up.

The VIN is the only piece of the puzzle I don't have.

I know the entire history of the car and personally know the original owner. But I have nothing with the VIN. The DMV can't search back that far based on the license plate.

The car is an original 455 4-speed bench seat car with all the supporting documents.

Does anyone know anything about this car??

Well, that changes the odds in your favor a little bit, if the owner knows what he has and is web savvy. Bob Cline has a 1973 V Code registry. Let me see if I can find the link to that or his contact info. (I think he's a member on here, and he's also in the Chicagoland area.)

Hmmm, brother of another mother. I thought the details rang a bell, what are the odds of both changing hands in 1998 from original owners?
