68 cutlass convertible
Can you be more specific? How much are you willing to spend versus how much work do you want to actually do yourself, and how far and wide are you willing to travel to get the car?
For example, here's one in Florida that certainly needs work, but it looks quite savable.

To this day I regret sell my 68 convertible project. I haven't seen any posted recently, but the following link might give you an idea want price would get you whatever condition...

Always Nice to see another jersey boy... I am in South River ( exit 9 on tpke LOL)
just a word of advice I am currently doing a 69, start with the best car you can afford, the mechanical work is fairly straight forward, the body work, quarters etc is where things run into big money, we are far away from the days of yore when you could sparay several coats of lacquer in the garage and just vacuum up the dust....
and another thing it is easy to get put off a resto when you start uncovering all kinds of crap that needs repalcing as no real parts exist ( body wise) no full quarters, no door skins etc
but a father daughter project is cool, ( i have one myself :-) )

Another Olds family in Millville is just OUTSTANDING!! Welcome to the site. I purchased a 68 vert 2 summers ago for a project that hasn't been started yet but I'm collecting parts first so once I get started I won't have to stop. Good luck in you hunt.

IN PERSON INSPECTION before full payment is made
have a list reader help if needed
A friend of mine bought a "nice looking" '69 convert off ebay
painted over rot
ended up needing THE FRAME, which I had
THE ENTIRE FLOOR, which I had
and 1000 other things.
Only the smogger 455 was really good
Which later became a 4-spd 425 disguised as a 350 anyhow.
Major bodywork $$$ and after we did all the metal replacement.
