about a eek before I bought mine, I found a 79 outside Harrisburg, PA for $900.

Had a bad head gasket and needed a headliner really bad. Other than that, it was in great shape

 

I have been checking CL all over the midwest w/ searchtempest. I figured another wanted post over here would be good ideaas well. Thanks for the input though. Too bad I missed the one you're talking about...just what I wanted.

I like the '79 in Harrisburg the best. It's even a 4-door.


There are others, but they are outside of the loosely-defined Midwest. Some California and Texas cars that might be worth checking out because, if native to these areas, they're probably in good shape, rust-wise.

If you buy the Harrisburg one, I'll drive out to the Burg and help you look it over. Harrisburg is only 120 miles from me

 

That one in Harrisburg is CLEAN, but I'm not digging too much on the color combo. Too bad..doesn't seem to have a spec of rust on it and that interior is mint.
So far I really like the look of these two listings. Now I've seen some vinyl tops four doors that still look quite nice, it's just gotta have that look...and I'm not talking 26" wheels. :-)
