Wondered that myself. When I went to purchase the car the owner could not find a cutlass title but found a 344 Vin title for the car.We looked at the motor and found it was a long block g code motor painted factory gold, not a repaint. It is linked to a g80 th400 and 12 bolt rear.Motor production number did not match windshield tag but all else did.year and built at Lansing.interesting .Headlight bevels had hood seal which owner has never seen on 68.This guy was long in the game and seemed very knowledgeable.
