1962 Oldsmobile Dynamic '88

I have a '62 Dynamic 88 that I have to get rid of. It has low miles, around 40,000 or less I think and I will get pictures up later today. It's located in Atlanta, GA. Everything is still original except I think my grandfather put an alternator on it at some point in the 1980's.

One question that I am having is how much is it worth? It was my great grandmothers car and it doesn't really have any dents, some surface rust, and could use a new dash from sitting in the sun for 40+ years.

Welcome to our site Dave, your question is a hard one to answer, vehicle condition (difficult to assertain via the web), local market, and of course numerical rarity all come into play. On the third item, the Dynamic was a common model that year. I think condition and local market would play a more important part in the equation. Looking forward to those pictures soon, this will help.

If I buy it, will you extract the dead cow from the front seat?
Yes, I can remove it very quickly.

I'm not sure, but you might be able to get your money back out of a paint job... If you could paint it and get it running and driving, you could sell it for much more, and it might be worth it to try that out, kinda like flipping a house. Good luck

I wish that I could do that. I would love to restore it all the way or have one of my buddies send it in to that show "Overhaulin" on TLC. That would rock.

Some paint and a set of color matched Olds rallyes would do wonders for it. From those pictures, it looks like your body work is limited so if you do decide to restore it you have saved yourself a lot of work, of course this is without seeing it
