Wow are these cars getting pricey I think there is another thread on here about that car - I just saw one picture before - looking closer that's a lot of coin for that car in that condition - heck I'd think twice about selling mine for that much and mine just finished a restoration.

Yeah, I wish I had had the $1850
back in 1980 for one we found in Amarillo.
Might as well have been $10,000 back
then, for an 18 yr old kid.

you have to price a car like that to run the flippers/consignment dealers/meddlers off.

in the end, money does the talking.

i am sure there are buyers out there willing to make a serious offer for the car

Ha, most of us could say that about at least one car. I had a few opportunities like that $10.00 seemed like $10,000 to me back then.

I just see the car listed above for 95k thinking you could probably put 50k into a decent but not perfect restoration and then have a car worth 100k - 250k depending on the available buyers at the specific time you are selling it. If I was interested and had the money I think it would be a great car to buy and enjoy for a while as is - maybe replace the door panels and just have fun. who cares about the AC not in tack - that's why you drop the top!
