Looks nice, but that appears to be a 67.

Did you notice the portion of the posting where I stated THIS IS NOT MY CAR!

Sheesh, no wonder folks don't like to post their data on here... seems many (not just you) have some sort of reading deficiency.

I think I'm done posting good deals from my area.

Thanks anyway, NightStalker - you couldn't have been any more clear.

Sorry. Yep, in my excitement to buy said vehicle, I completely missed the part where it clearly stated you were not the owner. I thought I was calling the owner and probably am. I am so very, very sorry if I disturbed your most wonderful holiday. I have called the number a number of times to no avail. I have always wanted one of these cars. Maybe next time I will be lucky enough to get through to the buyer and I will be able to actually buy it. Thanks for posting. When I post something for sale I usually have an attachment to it. Like I know the person or something.

MDcanic,

Sir, I apologize for being terse, but I've posted several CL links to cars I thought were great deals for fellow Olds lovers, and it seems each of them brings folks out of the woodwork who send emails wanting to come look at the car, or haggle the price, etc...

My favorite experience has to be when guys don't read the posting, send me an email about the CL posting and then follow it up telling me I am all sorts of unpopular names and such because I didn't respond to their first inquiry.

So, please accept my apology... mea culpa.

Merry Christmas.

I was just saying I agreed with you, NightStalker .

... and I understand your excitement, z11375 - I was nearly mad over a low mileage '70 GT about 2 hours away from me for $1,400 about a year ago - trouble was, I had NO space and NO money. Ah, well...

Merry Christmas!

If it wasn't for the holiday I would've called yesterday and today, but since it is I'd suspect they are not home or wouldn't want to be bothered.

I'm looking at one for $1500 a lot closer, but of course needs a lot more work haha.

Eric,
You should of told me about the70 GT last year, I could of helped you find a spot for it.

Thanks, it's one of those cars I wish I'd had a closer look at.
It was down around Boston. The pictures looked pretty good - paint seemed original and no rust holes, no tears in the seats, I think he said he couldn't get it started. It was posted for over two weeks before it sold.
Money was low, and with a bunch of OT that week, getting the six hours it would have taken to drive down, look at it, and drive back was also a major issue.
Very frustrating.

Hey Nightstalker, thanks for posting the car. Keep up the good work and don't get too rattled. We all need to work toward saving as many of these great old Oldsmobiles as we can. You know they don't make them anymore and if they did they would probably be crap.
