It's always good to see there are still true optimists in the world.

Wow. He's off by about two decimal places. That's worth about $12.50.

And how does he come with a such precise price on such an inexact piece of rust, anyway? $1250? Why not $1200 or $1300, or $1000, for that matter?

Looking at the hood it could be a 442.

And looking at the rest of it, it could be scrap metal.

Speaking as an optimist... it could have that in parts if its not from the rust belt. The paints been sanded off and it has surface rust but a person would have to see it in person to know how bad it is. If the convertible frame is solid that's most of the asking price there. The bucket seat cores seem to be going for $300 and up on ebay. The deck lid looks straight, if its not rusty. How about the convertible quarter panels? The chrome around the windshield is hard to find and in demand. The hood tells me 1969 or 70 but I'm guessing its a 1970 by the deck lid and fender extensions.

Heck, if its not too far away I'd check it out if I were you Redline.

The glass is half full until proven otherwise

i agree with John. i sold a solid but heavily pitted convertible frame for $750. the guy drove over 4 hours to come get it. i would at least go look at it. check for disc brakes also. the header bow is another good item to look at. it may be junk but someone should find out.
