$4500 OBO price includes: new Firestone FR380 White Wall 225/75/15 tires all around, new rear brake shoes and hardware, front calipers rebuilt (has recent rotors and pads) and new alignment -- this should make her drive-able anywhere.

Emphasis on OBO - not familiar with market for these cars..this one just kind of fell into my lap. Any input / feedback is appreciated. Being sold to fund 1972 Nova build (not sure many here want to hear that..LOL).

If you're bored and want to click tons of links to hi-res pictures and see if she's worth the effort, email me [455oldsrocket] at [gmail] dott [com]. A good prep/paint and polish she'd be amazing.

Very nice car. Wish I had the time, space and money to buy it from you. Good luck with the sale and I hope it goes to a good home. How many miles by the way?

Odometer reads 18,000. Based on interior and overall condition I'm positive it's 118,000.

Thanks for the well wishes!

Looks like a fair deal. You might be a little high because the market is soft on everything but you should be able to move it just don't expect people beating your door down like you are selling a 2dr Nova with a 454 for $4500.00

If you were closer to baton Rouge I'd offer to swap you my '70 C/10 pickup. Its a SWB, big rear window, full custom truck. It's a driver/second project vehicle for me.

Very nice.. I've been looking at C10's and F100's on craigslist..always have liked the older trucks.. will probably have one as a project at some point, hopefully! Good luck..

Open to offers and don't mind chatting up lowballers with thick skin.

Doubtful, the post is from 2011 and that was the last we heard from him. Post an intro post in the Newbie section so everyone can say hi.

Hi- Sorry it is not for sale ... I bought it and have just finished restoring it. Click on my page for pictures. It has been a great project, with a ton of NOS parts and the wonderful experience of the original owners tracking me down after I bought it. They have come to visit twice and given me all of the paperwork for the car. Dave

Wow does that look fantastic! So glad you caught the new post and updated this thread. It's great to know what happened to some of these cars. Great job!

Not sure if the link will work but here is the photo album:

Wow. Most these 2+yr old threads asking about cars don't end with members posting the restore product. Great job.

Looks like the car was in great shape to start. I was looking at the window sticker and it appears that the dealership dinged the original owner 2x for tax and license!

All, thanks for the compliments. Allan, you are correct that the car was pretty solid, but had some issues that didn't show in the pictures... rust-through under the vinyl top around the front and rear glass, 2 dead cylinders (broken rings/egg shaped bores), ripped seats, leaking calipers, bent front bumper, surface rust on hood/trunk, a/c compressor locked up, rotten exhaust...etc. All pretty typical of a car of this vintage. So I had to do everything. One thing that surprised me a little is that NOS parts weren't too hard to find - and VERY reasonable in price... at least compared to the last few cars I have done. Also, not sure the dealer double dipped the taxes, the buyer's order is a little clearer...I posted it in the album. Dave
