I am making this post for another. He has 2 1966 Tornados for sale, $15k for both. One is very sharp, and is a well operating vehicle (Toro 1). The other is mostly complete, missing is front bench seat with driver door damaged, needs restoration to run. Both have a considerable number of options.

I have completely restored a 67 Toro myself and am well acquainted with these cars. I think they're both excellent cars.

DocHubler, I'm still a ways off down in Medford Oregon. But I've got a 1966 door with power windows and a 1967 door without power. If that would help fix the car with a damaged door they are spare parts.

The original door comes with the car. I didn't see how much damage there was to it. The hinges were broke. I actual have 2 doors from a 67 with power windows that would work that I could sell if anyone is interested. The only thing missing that I could see was the front stratobench seat.

 

I swear that is one of the best looking 66's that I have ever seen. Beautiful car. Plus a first year car?


The day I got my license I started delivering pizzas. One of our delivery cars was a 66. I think other Toro was a 68. I love Toronado's.
