Looks like a solid car..love it…not advertised as original drive train, has some flaws, don’t they all. Very nice driver plus car..pricey, but thats asking price…if its a real 442

$55K and it doesn't even have the iconic '67 only 4-4-2 louvered hood. Oh, and doesn't there need to be a 5V in the trim area of the Cowl Tag for it to be a true 4-4-2, I'm not seeing it??? I'm thinking what we might have here is just a Cutlass Supreme convertible with some 4-4-2 badging thrown on it?

According to other posts that I've read on this forum, the Fremont plant ( BF on the data plate) did not put a "5V" on the data plates on 442s coming out of its plant. So, a lot of other 442 features would need to be verified.

dsp52 - Thank you for setting me straight on that point, I did not know that about Fremont 4-4-2's. I learned a new Old's FAC, thanks!

Gee. Whatever do you mean? I am sure a dealer car all polished up to sell is completely legitimate. The Oldsmobile in particular cars have just become a joke. Doesn't even have the hood..

Seems to me it doesn't matter if a car is original anymore. Just make it look pretty. Fools just write a check. THAT is what kills the hobby for me.
Get F out if here? How much?... Can't even spend the cash to get the right hood to complete your fake?..

The classic muscle car world has become so over flooded with fakes. The defenders of it all kill me.

That dash badge was so horrific I saved a screenshot for future use of what not to do.
