Seller has no documentation. See anything in the pics that would disqualify it as legit? I don't like the quality of the striping, especially on the hood, otherwise a nice looker.

I talked to the guy before it went up for sale. The car does not have the original motor which is why the alternator is on the wrong side. Also, it has 71/72 fenders which were a turn off for me on a 1970 car
heat tab
IMPORTANT HEAT TAB INFORMATIONTECH NOTE
Heat Tabs are installed on engines to detect abnormally high engine coolant temperature. The Heat Tabs are placed on the cylinder head(s) and on the engine block in an area that is in direct contact with the engine coolant. They can be found mounted on the casting surface or inside of a freeze plug.If the engines operating temperature reaches or exceeds 250° F the center of the Heat Tab will melt and flow out. This is a positive and certified method of determining whether the engine has reached a temperature beyond the normal operating range, thus voiding the warranty. The warranty is also void if the heat tab shows any signs of being tampered with or is removed from the engine.
Appears to be pretty clean underneath, however no parking brakes (cables missing). Why would that be? Hood screen gone. Fan shroud hacked up. Black wheels, 442 taiillamp lense and deck stripe. Seems like a lot of items to negotiate over.
My point is that the engine appears to fully painted gold in all the other pictures. If that is the engine VIN stamp why is it painted blue? Additionally it was already stated above that the engine is not original so why would they show the engine VIN when there's no way it should match?
