1972 Cutlass Supreme Original Low Miles FS

After much soul searching and procrastination I have decided to sell my late brother's CS. It has been parked in a dirt floor shed for about 40 years. Not a "barn find" but a "shed find" (sorry for the poor humor). The car is original except for the 15" wheels that are from his 1975 CS that he previously sold (put the 14" wheels and hub caps on the 1975). My brother bought this car new in December 1971. It is a basic CS with 350 4bbl, PS, AT, and AM radio. I do not have the window sticker but do have the original service manuals. To the best of my knowledge the car was never in an accident and the paint is original. The car was last run about 1983 and has 46K miles. It does have surface rust on the undercarriage but no visible rust in the sheet metal. The interior is nice except for the front seat - splits in the cloth due to age. The carpet and rear seat are perfect. I was planning to do mechanical and some cosmetic restoration (enough to get it road worthy) but I do not have the time nor place to work on it. I removed the carburetor and had it professionally rebuilt. The alternator was also rebuilt and converted to an internal regulator. Neither have been reinstalled. I checked the engine and it is free. I have a NOS rear bumper and some other miscellaneous parts that will go with the car. Not sure what it is worth but will start with an asking price of $7500. Open to reasonable offer. It is located at my farm near Altoona, PA and will need to be loaded on a rollback. I am attaching some pics as it sits. Please contact me at rollhauler at outlook dot com if you have any questions or are interested in the car. Put "1972 Olds Cutlass Supreme" in the subject so I know it is not spam. I do not log onto this site often so please do not send a PM here. Thanks for looking!

It would be a beauty when cleaned up but the moisture certainly is not helping anything. I love the clean look of the instrument panels on these cars. Have I mentioned the weather sucks in the northeast?

NE weather and dirt floor do/did not help. My late brother parked the car in the early 80s and it was never run since. I don't have a good place to work on the car, just taking up space, and not "improving with age." The engine is free.

Any better photos? Pictures of the underside? Pictures with that cloth removed from the top? Closeups of rust areas? Does the engine even turn over? Failing that, buyers will assume the worst.

Joe,
I am posting all the pics I have at this time. I will get some with the cover removed. As stated in the original post, the engine is free. I removed the spark plugs and turned the engine with a breaker bar. The spark plugs looked good and I did not see any evidence of coolant or rust in the cylinders. Also as stated there is surface rust on the undercarriage. The only rust in the trunk is from the jack on the trunk mat. Also as stated if anyone is interested to contact me. Thanks!

I've seen this car posted for sale about a year ago. It was posted covered up just like these pictures.
