I'm a 67 guy, not a 69 guy, so take this with a bit of salt or the whole shaker.
-The 22k doesn't line up on the speedo, it looks more like a 122k odo.
-The care has had a whole lot more than a repaint; it's been totally restored and the car is touted as original. The frame is painted.
-The vin pad on the engine is one of the worst I have seen. You'd need Indiana Jones to decipher those digits, and that's kind of critical for this car.
-The vin on the car actually looks old and original, unlike the rest of the car.
-I don't know if the steering wheel is correct; I'm ignorant on this one.
-I could not see if it had the correct heads for that year smallblock, and then I would have gone looking for what the w-31 packed, if anything special.
-I know to look for a big honking balancer, and I would check that in person.
-I would also want to see the original sticker.
-Are options listed in alphabetical order on an order, or biggest first?
-I think I'd also want more docs. Broadcast card and/or PoP.

Looks like POR-15 on the frame and suspension to me.
JO code T350 is correct for car.
My .02 is pretty much any A/G body that has achieved a senior preservation at an oca is a really correct car. No offense but those guys are extremely **** on authentisity, like Corvette or Mopar muscle. Even with a volunteer judging crew, they are hard on the cars in my experience. Not nearly as hard on the other models to score well as i believe they are not as fully documented as Cutlass in terms of who would know types of details.

My main cause for concern is that it appears to be fully restored, but it said to just have a repaint at some time by a previous owner and is all original. How do those stickers look new after almost 50 years.

That said there is plenty of room for it in my shop.
biggest thing I see is incorrect tires. should be no size in raised white letters. the GM decal and vin decal on the driver door are incorrect as they didn't start until 1970 model year. Why is the heater core bypassed? The firewall appears real shiney too. But a lot of the hard and expensive things are done - paint, bodywork, drivetrain and interior. And a lot of the other things I see are easy to correct, if one chooses. I agree though, the vin derivative stamp on the engine is nearly impossible to read.
X2 on the heater core. If it's bypassed then as Trump would say "We got a leaker here!". It has the wrong senders for the gauges, at 22K there's no way they could both be bad. True, a Senior car has to be a pretty good car. I agree the engine stamp is really poor. I'm sure I've probably seen this car at the Nats. You would have to go over the dist, starter, manifold, carb, block, etc., numbers and dates to see how they jived. IF it's really a 22K car, and those dates are critical as to how much the car is worth. It's probably "real" but the 22k is the difference between say 35K + 65K for the car. It's worth like double if its 22K in my opinion.

Kind of a hodge podge of areas that were wiped clean, then spot painted. The diff cover has a bit of paint streak run on it. Slapped stickers over certain parts of un restored under carriage, etc. Very nice car and I dig the platinum color.

Good morning Olds experts/ restorations experts its been awhile it's your friend the 58 yr old no nothing Camaro guy ...This Camaro guy has been dealing with a lot of personal things in his life ( lost my mother new years eve) but that being said I have been doing my due diligence on this car and low and behold the Camaro dummy that I am had larry spiecher at my shop 3 times to help with the verification process .All of you know it all olds guys should know that name how about Steve Minore does that name ring a bell ?...The only thing im going to say about the car is this for all of the experts out there...The motor in the car is a number matching ram rod 350 for my own piece of mind I took off the cylinder heads and measured the valves low and behold the are a 2' inch the same valve that was used in the 455 ci engines according to the experts the ram rod 350 ci motor was the only other engine that Olds ever put that 2' inch valve in ..Make sense ?...That alone with the numbers matching vin on the car is a pretty good indicator that its the real deal...Want more I also found the broadcast sheet which says nothing about a w-31 but has the correct vin number on it..So in conclusion in my opinion its the real deal as far as the keyboard warriors have stated there's no way that it could be real because one of them didn't find it somebody else did so beuno...No Camaro dummy could ever have found anything that some great Olds expert didn't find first right?....This site is filled with a bunch of uneducated clowns that watch too much tv ....I read the comments on my other posts and the one that got me was the ...." oh he sells cars that's reassuring'...Its part of my business and why would that matter anyway ?..It just shows how dumb people are especially when it comes to this type of stuff ...This site is exactly like posting a question on a corvette sight same thing nobody but the "experts" could ever find a rare car its not possible...lmao ...I'm not going to post anything again you experts can sit and wonder or not you will probably just continue to bash me because i didn't get your approval when I bought It forgot I should have got on this site full of experts and asked first then maybe I could have moved forward with my purchase...
