Its gonna hurt but the 66 or the car I just bought are the only ones worth enough money and the new car is a better commuter/family car.

Good luck with the sale. Family priorities should always come first.

Hate to hear it, but understand young man. You have to do for your family.
Keep you head up and nose to the grindstone if possible. Oldsmobiles may come and go, but family is forever. Perseverance and strength and some good luck to you.

Well said. The fact that he's selling these cars would indicate he's got his priorities in order.

Good for you, and good luck with your sale.

For those of you who haven't looked at the cl ad, I am willing to seperate the the engine from the body. Seems to be a very small market for a turbocharged 6 speed olds and I don't really have time to sit and wait for the right guy to come along.

Alright guys, if anyone is interested don't be shy to make an offer. Need the room and money, all reasonable "cash in hand" offers will be considered. Alternatively what could I do to make it more appealing? Thinking about removing the turbo and 6 speed(replaced with either a th350 or 4 speed) but really don't have time to work on a car I'm not keeping.

Would help out a lot if I can sell this in the next two weeks. $6500obo and I'm throwing in all my olds parts I won't need if I don't have the car. Extra 350 short block drilled for manual(comes with flywheel as well). Some random pieces like exhaust manifolds, valve covers etc. comp 260h cam, th350(dual bellhousing pattern) with partial rebuild kit and used manual vb in a box, I can throw in a b&m star shifter. I also have a brand new weatherstrip set still in the box as well as all the trim, original rubber floor mat and whatever else I can find to go with the car.

Well, we made it through our rough patch and the olds didn't sell. I have her tucked away in storage with the 62 and it looks like I'll be able to keep them. Still for sale cause the money would still be nice but we aren't stressed out anymore.

Car is still for sale, don’t need the money but I can’t afford multiple projects and figured out which ones I want to keep. The car is now a 455/th350 not running/driving, 455 isn’t in yet so can be available without engine for lower price. Like to see $3500 with engine and tranny, make offer if you don’t need engine and/or tranny.

Went a different way, car has straight 6 and jetaway from 64 tempest in it now asking $2200 as is, still needs auto column and driveshaft to be driveable. Looking to get these parts put on but will increase price to $2500 when it’s a driver.
