72 Cutlass 442 Convertible "Tribute" w/455
1972 Cutlass 442 Convertible: Have had the car for about 5 years and did everything to keep the old look and power, but with some new drivability additions - removed 350 Rocket and put in 455 Rocket with "C" heads, electric fan, 4 core radiator, front and rear disc brakes, front Hotchkiss sway bar, rear factory sway bar (handles very nice despite 14 inch wheels), 5 speaker stereo (great sound), upgraded lights (including trunk, license plate, and hood), new top and top cylinders 2 years ago. There are some rust bubbles at the bottom of the doors (have remain unchanged in last 5 years) misc. scratches and chips in paint from wear and tear. The car was originally Saturn Gold and was painted by previous owner in with the most beautiful deep sea blue and hand painted pin stripes. The rear is 2.73 and the transmission is a TH 350. The car shifts smoothly and drives straight. Power Windows, power top, power brakes, power steering, gauges (no tach) were added as well as three power plugs. Putting it out there at $29k and just going to see if any real interest here before doing Craig's and Auto and Cars-on-line etc. Current Pics (same as old ones) will be up soon.
