1987 442 184k main bearings just started rattling. no smoke, good oil pressure, recent tune up, motor is unmolested all vaccum lines, sensors, smog equipment etc is in place and working, new tires, energy suspension body bushing, KYB shocks, nos head lights, nos tail lights, Globalwest tubular upper control arms with 12" disc conv. my friend bought the car from the original owner in 1999 but he never put the title in his name. he put 80k miles on the car and I bought it from him earlier this year and the car is now in my name. I put 480 miles on it when the motor started rattling. since the car is unmolested, I thought I would sell it to someone who would restore it instead of hotroding it like I would. It also needs a headliner ( just started falling ) the carpet is worn. there is a couple of very small cracks in the dash and some normal wear in the seats, but no rips!!!! good console and lid. considering the mileage and age... the car is in good shape. part of the car was repainted at some point by the original owner and the difference in paint is noticable. it needs a complete repaint now! It is grey on grey. There is NO rust anywhere in this car!!!! North Texas car all of it's life. No T-Tops. 8.5 posi 3.73 factory rear end. fiber optic fender lights, The stereo has been removed, my friend still has it and it will go with the car.
