Just from the pictures, but will need more investigation, like under the hood, more interior shots, trunk shots, etc., it looks like a fairly solid driver for the current money. Nothing show-worthy, but could be a fun vehicle. Noticed a few flaws, but I cruise that sucker.

Definitely a good starting point if you just had to have it. Although the emblems look original and not put on crooked, I'd need a little bit more verification that it is an actual 442. At this point I'd lean to yes, but again, further investigation is warranted.

Here's more of the same car about 4 years ago for 26K.

1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass | GAA Classic Cars

Wait...is that a voltage regulator on the firewall? Great looking drop snorkel air cleaner too. Didn't the 442s have internal regulators in 72?

The W30 style stripes on the sides of the car aren't correct nor necessary. No documentation to show that it is a 442.

No, they are not. Only W-cars got the wide stripes (despite the fact that every car has them today). Lesser 442s got multiple pinstripes.

The hood and trunk stripes are pretty close to correct. The W side stripes do look a little stupid on non W cars, IMO, but that can be fixed with a better paint job.

Well, at the very least it's a legit U-code.
