Eh, I think it's clever. Might have been more "authentic" if he'd used a Cutlass S instead of a Supreme. He probably had a scrap Vista sitting around and said, hm, what if I just did this and this.......
I agree though, it probably shakes like an earthquake going down the street. Doesn't matter how much you use, bondo isn't structural.

That car has been around for awhile, it keeps turning up for sale like a bad penny.
It was painted black the last time I saw it.
It's very awkward looking, the lines are all off and it just doesn't work IMO.

Interesting but intriguing. Wonder what it looks like from the back and inside? How do you go about titling that in the US? Just curious, since it's been extensively modified does it now have to meet current state legislation for DMV or is it still age exempt? A 'subcompact' VC creation - who'd a thunk it?

7-8 passengers with 3 row seating in that? Really?? The info in the posts suggests that it was going for 6K back then. Chevy 350 powered too. Interior doesn't look that great. If the dash represents original, this was likely a Nugget or Galleon Gold car to start with.
I like this better:
Or this original 2 door wagon - a 56 blast from the past

I like weird stuff and probably why I have a 5 speed stick Vista Cruiser and a three color w-30 convt. Somebody could turn that into a driver if the price was not too crazy. Bad thing is in this market it is an under $2000 car.

BTW, don't know if you've seen this. It is a 65 VC that I took pics of at our 'Rocket Roundup" in Olds AB a couple years ago. Even stock, those cars are soooo nice!
