SOLD 1965 F85 Flat Top Wagon, Driver Condition $2800 SOLD

Hi All
You may have remembered me posting info about this car when the owner had it on ebay. It didn't sell, and he thought he might be able to keep it after all. But things aren't working out that way. Attached is the Craiglist ad and a couple pictures I took of the car helping him with the ebay ad. If you want to know anything specific about the car I can help with info or pictures. Lots of potential, real solid body, daily driver condition. John

http://medford.craigslist.org/cto/4500921838.html

"1965 Oldsmobile F85 Wagon. Runs good and is currently a daily driver. It has minor parking lot dings and light rust. Currently has an Olds 1976 350 motor but I do have the original motor minus the intake that could be rebuilt. Rear end is from 1970 Vista Cruiser, I do have the original rear end that could be rebuilt as well. The transmission is original and has never been rebuilt and is still solid. Comes with after market AC pump and dash unit.

I have had this car for 16 years and I am sad to let her go but sometimes you do what you have to do. She has been an awesome car for me and I am sure she will make an awesome car for someone else.

You can contact me via email, phone or text. SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY PLEASE *Cash only no trade* "

Looks pretty good maybe some pics if the tail gate to show the common rust spot could help the sell.

That is one if my favorite cars I just love wagons.

Yeah, I've seriously thought of purchasing it myself. But I've already got the 1964 wagon and enough spare parts to make it into a driver for less than it would cost to buy this one. If your interested I can help by taking whatever pictures you'd like to see. This reminds me of one of your Central Oregon cars. The sun baked the paint off it, but there's no cancer type rust in the metal. Man I'd love to see someone here buy it and enjoy it!

Well, the owner has driven it to Southern California and back, say 1500 miles round trip. How far away are you?

OK, that would be a road trip and I'd not be comfortable driving a car of this age that far... without going through things first! But if you think you could cover the shipping costs I'd encourage you to contact the owner and discuss it with him. If you did get to the point of seriously considering the car I could help answer any questions you might have.

Yeah, I don't know how soon he needs to sell it. But you might keep an eye on the Craigslist ad to see if it disappears.

Glad to help out! I'll let you know when the car's safely tucked away, awaiting its new home in your collection
