https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...side-shot.html For Sale price has changed to $4500.00 firm new brakes,all new brake-lines new master-cylinder, have new shocks, new water-pump, new fuel pump, new plugs and points, carb has been rebuilt and new intake gasket, tires are like new,interior is excellent for its age, has the original clear covers on the seats, floors and trunk are solid. I have all the chrome and olds lettering, runs and drives , has clear title in my name and licensed, and for the bad it needs repainted, power brake booster is bad, top needs replaced, and the engine smokes some it has been sitting since about 1992 before i got it but it does run good, showing 6,000 miles but it's likely 106,000 oil change sticker on the door shows oil was changed in 1991 with 5,000 now it shows 6,000 miles. This needs restored,but it is far from a basket case. the 88 convertible now comes with a 1964 olds starfire convertible parts car the body is in bad shape but complete so both cars are $ 4500.00 i am not desperate to sell so don't try to lowball me please!

Don't make the fatal mistake of assuming you can recover when you sell a car what you've spent on it. It never works that way. The marketplace determines the car's value.
Having said this, though, the marketplace says your $3,800 price is too low.
Price guides put the value of this car in this condition at around $5,000. At your price, it ought to be snapped up quickly.
