They're in Cali, right? Mebbe they been takin' lessons from OP...
A Custom Sports Coupe? They're nice, but you're talking an expensive car to restore. Almost as bad as a Starfire or mid-60s Thunderbird. You would have well over $1000 in interior materials if that required a complete resto, plus the stitch job.

yea the int would be the most expensive part, but the rest of the car is complete so theres no searchn for parts, if some1 fully frame off restores it its allways going 2 be expensive but it shouldnt cost 2 much for a daily driver if they can do part of the work them selves, i see major potential!!!!! redue interior, body/paint, and a engine compartment clean up and you got a highly optioned daily driver, i was just shocked 2 see a 64 with that many options and with all its parts how offten do you see that?? i bet the build sheet is still in there 2
like i said b4 gm sports salvage works deals!! most real big classic car recycle yards do have high prices posted on the internet for out of state buyers who cant get the parts in there state and i fully understand that end of the business BUT they work deals in person!! they had a very nice pair of 70-72 bucket seats no rust or cracks in the headrests posted for $550 online when i showed up in person i bought them for 350 no tax, i also got a chevelle console/shifter for 250, they have the biggest classic car yard ive seen theyve had every part ive needed and that includes original quarters, fenders, doors, and trunks

you sure do see lots of cars for sale.
are all these sellers friends of yours?
this place is a drop ship seller/junkyard.they have no inventory, they sell somebody else's stuff, then have it shipped to you.
the same goes with the cars, they are all on consignment.
according to google maps, their address is an empty lot,or in a office space.

Actually, GM Sport Salvage is a vendor that appears at the back of EVERY Fusicks catalog as an additional parts source and after the usual disclaimer that they have no business ties, are referred to as "responsible, quality minded Oldsmobile enthusiasts".
I had one business dealing with them...was sent the wrong part, but they did make it right by refunding my money and paying for return shipping.

This '63 98 Custom Sports Coupe has the Starfire 394, a/c , cruise, and power everything! It is loaded to the 9s!!!!
If you would like, I can get you in touch with the owner of this "Antquie Rose" example. Just PM, and Chuck can tell you the good, the bad, and ugly on this very same 98.
