Exclamation Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme

New interior, tach and gauges, just needs headliner and back area where speakers go finished.

Ext- new gas tank, new front windshield, rechromedbumpers, new emblems and mirrors, tinted windows,w-30 hood scoop, newly painted but has minor scratches.

motor- 350 but rebuilt to 355, mild cam, roller rockers, 670 street avenger carb, headers, flowmasters, chrome alt, new battery, new brake booster, sounds and runs good.

the bad- took ac and heat out, was going to turn car into drag car but didnt,no windshield wipers, and needs tires and rims. i have some on there now but they are on there to keep car off ground.

The car has been garage kept and well taken care of. I bought it in 01 and honestly drove car 2 months out of the 11 yrs i had it. Was in military and had no time with car.

This may be a painfully stupid question, but nowhere in your ad here or in the link you provide do you state the most basic of basic information, and that is, what is the YEAR of this car?

And can you provide ANY more photos? That one incomplete side-view you provide tells that us that it's a late '60s or early '70s, but how about another dozen or so photos showing the exterior from all sides, the interior, and a couple of good shots of the engine?

And how about one more obvious question. What are you asking for this car?

It's a 70-72, but I don't think that is the point you are trying to make.

That's a start! I figured someone more familiar with the A-bodies of that era could tell these apart based on minor, year-to-year differences. So we've got it narrowed down to three model years.

if you are looking for more info on the car follow the link in the ad and contact the seller personally. We are just a website that allows users to post ads for free.

Thanks!

You might want to make it clear that you are not the seller. You've copied the wording from the ad directly here, and it contains the phrase "I bought it in 01..." which suggests very strongly that the person making the post above (i.e., you) is the actual seller.

Maybe we need a sticky saying "ccnclassic IS NOT THE SELLER!"

What we need is for the OP to do what everyone else on here does when they're posting a link to a craigslist, ebay, whatever ad that isn't theirs. They put a big disclaimer at the top of their post stating NOT MY CAR.

I hear ya, man. And I don't know why he doesn't do it, either in the title or as a sig. Seems it would be less effort than sending a response post as he does in every such thread.

I guess I was a little surprised you didn't recognize his name and practice. But my post was directed at him, more than you. And I was really just joking around (avoiding work here.) Didn't mean to upset anyone, and apologize if I did.

No offense taken.

I do suspect that that car will sit for a while until the seller does a better job of both describing and photographing it.
