Non-Olds 67' Buick GS 400 For Sale
Non-Olds 67' Buick GS 400 For Sale
This is a complete car, that needs work. I want no surprises for prospective buyers and have included a link to pictures. http://s44.photobucket.com/albums/f49/jschwing2/67%20GS%20400/
I will provide additional pictures to interested parties on request. In the meantime, here is what I can tell you.
The Good
I am third owner with clear title in hand.
Black hardtop with pearlized yellow interior.
Numbers matching, motor, carb and drivetrain.
Top end rebuilt. Heads, cam, lifters.
Automatic console.
Seats recovered in NOS material from Legendary.(Not pictured. Pictures show temporary black seats used so I can drive it.)
New carpet included.(Not pictured)
Newer tires.
Newer brakes.
Rebuilt trans
Original aircleaner included, has minor damage.(Not pictured)
Rear bumper core included.
Replacement front passenger wheelhouse included.(Not pictured)
Replacement core support included.(Not pictured)
The Bad
Windows leak. Front and rear windows should be replaced and or resealed properly.
Front driver side floor pan is shot. Rest of floor appears solid with only some surface rust.
The motor runs well, but uses oil. Oil rings are either stuck or broken.
Obivous dent in driver side door and quarter.
Body work apparent in lower fenders and quarters.
Wheelhouses need to be patched or replaced. (Front passenger side replacement included.) This is the harder of the two to find.
Core support rusted.(Replacement included.)
Trunk needs attention. Rust hole above driver side body mount.
Decklid needs work.
The Ugly
Car has collision damage in passenger rear quarter. Can be pulled, but will need metal work.
Some parts of frame have rusted thru and been repaired. One spot that needs attention is pictured.
Certainly not an easy job, but this thing is worth saving and I think it is reasonably priced. $6,000 OBO. I will entertain other offers. Including partial and cash equivalent trades. Interested in 70'-72' Olds A-body sheetmetal and OAI components.
Thanks for the long read!
