Life changes - selling 66 442 convertible

Well, I haven't been on in a few weeks, my stepmom passed suddenly and I brought my Pop home to live with us.
It's all good but I will be selling my 66 442 vert for $31,500 if there is any interest. Most of you know it needs a little work
but was restored back in '13 or '14, I forget, with only 52K on the clock then and now has 56K on it.

Thanks Eric. It's a big change but Dad seems to be transitioning well for 87 yrs. old. The wife is taking it pretty well too, thank goodness.

My condolences. Having gone thru something similar some years ago, I understand what you are going thru. Like yours, my wife was a godsend in our situation. It can be very challenging accepting another person in to your (her) home. Do something really nice for her.

Thanks Randy. We are going on a cruise in April to celebrate our 38th. Of course she set it up! The best decision I ever made
was telling her all those years ago, "I do."

Adam, sorry to hear about your stepmom's death. You've made a good decision to bring your Dad to live with you. That arrangement's not common any more, but that's how my mother's family helped each other when they needed it. And that's how generations before showed their love and support for their relations.

You're a good example for all of us.

Thank you sir. Dad told me he didn't want to be a burden. I told him, Dad I look at it like this, the kids see me taking care of you and I hope that when it's my turn they will do the same for their mother and me.

I'm sure they will follow the excellent example you've set. Actions speak volumes more than words

Sorry for your loss! Some how I missed the initial post. Anyways, terribly noble on your behalf taking care of your dad. I hope that a lot more people do what you are doing.

Sorry to hear about your mom and good on you for what you're doing for your dad.

Your car looks to be in pretty good shape but you mentioned that is has some issues that need dealt with. Care to elaborate on what needs work that you are aware of?
Thanks,
Jack

Hi Jack. Sure, it needs a POA valve installed that I got from Larry Moyer sometime back. It needs the heater core replaced of which I do have a new copper unit for it. Some of the body panels need tweaking, I have never been happy with them. The radio never worked. Other than that it's a pretty sweet car.

Thanks Eric. Be careful out there my Oldsmobrothers. You never know who is going to cross over and do this kind of damage.
