"I'm Going To Restore It Someday"
Apparently "Someday" never came
Not mine,
What a rusty POS. It looks to have been a nice complete car at one time:

WOW.
I admire the courage that people have when they take on a restoration challenge such as this.
All my cars were rust free California cars when I bought them, and all I did was upgrade, replace recondition the mechanical stuff.
My wife would kill me if I brought something like this home.

This is where my current project started...and yes my wife nearly killed me when she found out! You can check out my progress at the link below.

Found her sitting in a Texas cow pasture.

Bet that thing was the result of joyriders driving it into a pond or lake back in the day to hide their crime. It should be replaced right back there because graves should not be tampered with.

The car that got me hooked on Oldsmobiles was a dead Rallye 350. Purchased new on the Oregon Coast, so it had serious rust. Not quite this bad, but I can see a lot of hard to find parts on it. I'd love to see it in person, is the Muncie 4 speed a lump of aluminum corrosion or is it usable? Is the underside of the hood rotted away, or could it be patched to save the hood. The wing and mirrors are likely good, maybe the post trim around the door and back seat windows? Yeah, some parts hunter needs to check it out in person to see what is and isn't salvageable. Too bad it wasn't found a decade or two ago.

I don't see any signs of it being a water car, looks like outside field storage.
This is a car that was worthless a few years ago but still managed to survive.
I personally crushed a couple of Ralley350 back in the 80's that were better than this one but of course that is the nature of the auto parts salvage bussiness. Both were purchased for 60-70 dollars or so from the local AustinPD abandoned auto auction. And note that I was the high bidder to get them.

They could've had the courtesy to wipe it down a little at least, geez!
Between that hood and various post-car trim pieces, there's some $$ in that car. I don't know how much more than about $2k though.

Value? Just look at the car.
4speed conversion
Spoiler
mirrors
SSII wheels
hood
grill sections
hundreds of bits and pieces
Maybe a disc brake package
rear sway bar
Parts value is well beyond the current eBay bid.
Or make a car out of it by adding a Cutlass S to it.

Somebody save it.
But a person might have to 'Sit on it Potsie.' For a bit maybe.
But not very long, tranny, rear wing, intake manifold,
OIA stuff, carb, heads, rear diff, dist, gauges...
If you start digging...date codes correct? If all those came up roses,
what a great candidate for a re-body... Not me, just food for thought guys.

I remember about 5 of them that looked like that in the early 80s. Nice patina.

That is if all that stuff is good. I'd be shocked if the rest of the body looks like that and the hood frame was in good shape. as far as engine parts, its not a W31 so what are they worth?
