Someone really likes red and bling. Not very often a big cruiser gets seen decked out like that. Nice work, but not my style.

Even though the '73 is one of the better looking Eighty-Eights in the 71-76 era, the seller would had been much better off leaving the Oldsmobile engine in the Eighty-Eight.

I find it odd that it still has nice unaltered seats and door panels.

At this level of customizing done to one persons taste I don't suppose it makes much difference if it has an Olds or Chevy engine.

Why not? Each person who builds a custom car has their own vision. Most of us don't think about resale, if we did we wouldn't build it because of the cost. How often do you recover the cost of building a car? Very seldom right?

He's going to be buried in that car. Unless there's another freak out there with similar taste and a big wallet. I doubt it.

I like how he's maintained the stock exterior appearance of the car. I do wonder about anyone who would spend upwards of $200,000 on something like this and then be, apparently, perfectly happy to part with it for "only" $129,000. Gives new meaning to the phrase "money to burn."

This one sentence in his listing caught my eye:

"There has benn just two owners of this vehicule myself and anther."

Maybe he should have taken some of that $200K and spent it on a spell checker.

More interestingly, I wonder who 'anther' is?
