I do love that car. It has some hard to find pieces on it.
Hard top trim, chrome sideburns without the opera lights, royale interior, and 1 year only grilles and tail lights.

I will be in Copiague on Nov. 13th, which saddens me even more, because I have no room for the old gal at the moment. I wish I would have started with a clean car like this instead of the Chicago rot box in my project thread.
If you have time for a beer let me know. My bandmates and I will be playing a bar out there, and then it's off to Altoona and Bethlehem, PA.

J needs to get that car he could fix it up. That would make a perfect car for his band to use for gigs.

LOL!!!
How much? I see it's at a wrecking yard. If $200 will take that thing, I may have to call in some favors.
I could add it as a band expense.

The local spot gives us $150 for promotional expenses like flyers, posters magazine/newspaper ads etc. etc.
If I were to do all that myself on extra paper around the house and call in a favor or 2 with local promoters I could stash that gem in the woods behind the practice spot.

I can't even begin to imagine that tuna barge's amazing passing power with a mighty 140HP 307 under the hood. The Buick Limo in this pic has an LT1 and goes 18's. That Olds would probably be a 27sec 1/4 mile

On the plus side, I could race Richard Kneulbel's limo with my very own limo next year, instead of using the gray car. http://www.youtube.com/user/jbh11600#p/u/4/Uo1CAa9iGks

260 V8? Measly power for a car that size/weight.

It was worse in the 76-77 heavy cars.

That 80 delta probably only weighs in around 3600 if it has the aluminum bumper inserts.

Car looks like a good deal. Since I just bought another car, I think my better half would hang me if I brought this home as well. oh well I hope it ends up with someone who will keep it going because like the owner said, they are becoming rare.

If NY was the last date of the tour instead of the first, I might have done something crazy and bought it.
As it sits right now, I'd have to drive the thing cross country without any problems for a full week and pay triple gas $.
Splitting gas $ in a 6 cyl Jeep between 4 people will be a lot easier than going it alone all week in that Delta.
Although it would be a lot roomier for me haha.
