71 convertible for sale
This seems a lot for a basic convertible with no air and needs work and paint. This is like my dream car (if all put together and working) but not for $28k! Am i out of touch with this market?

Agree...I think it's overpriced. No power windows, AC inoperable, interior needs upgrading, I could go on. My 1971 CS convertible puts this listing to shame. Thanks for posting though; since, I'll be listing mine in the not-too-distant future.
Looks like it needs a front bumper - - not a fan of how those aftermarket gauges were added but hopefully they're just held into a removable cluster and not cut into the dash frame itself - appears the under-dash a/c vent panel is missing too?
Have always liked that color on these cars so that would be a plus for me.
There was a similar one a few weeks ago in similar color that had apparently been flipped from a prior asking price of $15.5k (if I recall correctly) to a new sell price of $25 or 26k - I think that car was a bench seat/column shift convertible that needed some engine work.
Not that mine will (hopefully) ever be for sale, but I maybe have $30k in mine (including purchase price), after fully rebuilt/upgraded throughout except for paint which is still holding up well from whenever it was done in the very late 90's - so yeah, this one's high in my opinion as well. I'd call it a sub-$20k driver, which is what mine was when bought back in 2016.
