Is this for real?
I see an Aluminum intake, the W27 cover, a black 8 Track case, not Sienna, a mono AM FM radio, and a black steering wheel hub.
Granted, the W27 cover could be ordered, but the W32 engine would have an iron intake correct?
And the mono AM FM was not available until '72.

I found the dealer's site with a write-up: http://topnotchvehicles.com/gallery/...x-convertible/ It says, "At some time, the original intake manifold and 2 barrel carburetor were replaced with an Edelbrock Aluminum intake and four barrel carburetor."
Absent seeing a build sheet, I would say Plenty has been changed/added on this car. L33 was originally a 2bbl, Mirrors are not correct for 1970.
I would venture to say that a previous owner added some other options(steering wheel, radio, T44 hood lock?. Hard to say whats original. Current seller says he has 3 buildsheets, but none are shown
The seller is a used car lot that deals primarily in Oldsmobiles. He buys cheap, and stores the cars until he feels the market will give a nice return.
For what he's asking, he could afford to charge the A/C. $40k is steep for an original 2bbl car, although anything drop top garners more attention, regardless of originality..
Net sure, but I think this car was forsale late last year for Mid $20s
