Doesn't seem like much to finish, for the money!

Depending on what he will take in might be a decent deal for the collection of parts you get but if anyone thanks they can slap paint on it and drive it is in for a big shock. Its been sitting outside in primer for who knows how long. For any chance of a decent paint job you have got to strip it all the way back down. There is already rust showing in that one spot so no telling how much more there is lurking.
X2. Sorry, but I'm a cynic. Any rustbelt car with "bodywork already done" is a red flag to me. It is a good price if the car is as solid as it appears. The minor rust on the wheel lip does not concern me. I'd be worried about what's under the primer. Note it is a Sebring Yellow car, however.
That isn't an OEM hood either from what I was emailed back.
I'm with Joe on the previous body work in the rust belt zone. I know first hand taking a fresh body work car in primer and parking it under even a tarp will do. Moisture from the ground alone will rot the heck out of previous body work and primer holds moisture. U can already see in the rear wheel well lip that it's rusting from inside out again.
If the hood was real it would have been a decent deal as you would basically be getting the car for 1200 or less if you resold the hood, but apparently it's not real.

It does look like it has Sebring yellow paint on it, but it also had a vinyl top, so I don't believe it's a Rallye 350, just most likely a Cutlass with special order paint. I'd like to see the cowl & VIN tags though.
It needs a lot of work.Add to the fact that it is sitting outside,in the grass,so it can soak up even more moisture. If the bodywork was really done, and ready for paint,it isn't anymore.Start over. The price for the car might be within reason, but it is nowehere near ready for completion.
