70 442 Sport Coupe
**************************Sold******************** ************
I have a 70 442 OAI Sport Coupe that needs a new home. It's 1 of 1688 made(vin # 344770MXXXXXX) and it has a NOM 70 455 engine with a 400 turbo trans(code PX)3.23 posi(code SF). The options are A/C,power disc brakes,P/S,tilt,dual gate, rally pack, sport mirrors/sport wheel/SS2's with good white letter radials. The original color was Azure blue(code 20) black vinyl top (code b) with a black bucket seat interior. It has a Gray paint job that's not very good,it's flat. The vinyl top was removed and the body work was not good, you can see the lead area where the top meets the quarter. It's a fairly straight car with only a couple of minor dings. The hood is very nice with no visible rust or damage underneath,no OAI cleaner and the grilles are very nice. The floor/trunk pans & drop offs/wheel houses/fenders (71/72 style)/deck lid/doors/frame are solid. The only rust I can see is behind the rear wheels with some bubbles. The interior is fair, the seats have been covered with non OEM material in the correct pattern but look OK. Carpet/door panels headliner are not bad,the dash has a crack in the middle front. It runs/drives good and stops good. I actually owned this car about 25 years ago and I sold it to a friend less engine/trans who fixed it for his daughter for her 16th. birthday. It has been garage kept for the period of tome from then till now. The car has been driven very little over the years because the girl didn't care anything about the car. My friend died a few years ago and they are selling off every car/thing he owned. It's a nice driver but a great car for somebody to restore beings it's so complete and solid. There isn't a panel that needs replacing it's that solid, just patches behind the rear wheel openings. As far as I know the car has only been in TN & Alabama it's entire life. There is some chrome trim that will need replacing due to some dents. $16,500 and a partial trade might be considered depending on the trade,no late models, only 64-72 A-Body Olds models considered.
This car also has the B-85 belt moldings I forgot to add. I checked this car all over on a rack and I can't find any rust other than mentioned above. I checked under the lower rear glass channel in the trunk and it's rock solid. I also looked around the front and rear glass and didn't see any hint of rust. I don't believe you could find a more solid car for the $$$$$. Delivery is possible for a fee depending on distance. If you're looking for a 70 OAI post car, this is the one.
Best to contact me by email pchopesq@aol.com We can talk by phone if you like and more pictures are available to serious buyers.
Thanks
Mike

Why do you keep pushing it? He either bought the car from them and is reselling it or he thinks they listed it for too little and he's trying to get them more money. Either way it's not for sale for $12.5k
