Forty grand, huh? Not too long ago a car like this would have struggled to fetch 25. Which isn't to say it's not a good car -- it looks fairly original and unmolested. Hope the seller gets lucky soon. I hear we're headed for a recession.

Yikes gonna have to find a purist for that one. I like some hub caps but that lacks the flash of SSI or SSII

Believe they were optional: W-43 = full hood stripes and Y-73= pinstripes surrounding the "humps."

Build sheet and window sticker shows that it did have the stripes, but as it is also lacking the trunk lid/over the tail light stripes as well, means that it has had a re paint. Not a bad looking car.

I was thinking 25 was about right for the car, too. Problem with a price that high is you can't even start to negotiate. It reminds me of one time I looked at a car, and the guy wanted 40% more than it was worth. Couldn't start. Nice guy too. Nice car.
