If anyone is interested let me know...I will be in that area on fri or sat and will be looking at the car and taking some pics (that is, if the car is still available). I spoke to him via phone and he is looknig for something in the 5-6K range.

Did you happen to see the car? He still has it and I might be interested. Thanks.

67 cutlass ragtop

I have not seen it, but I will have the time to go over on Thursday to take a look at it - just let me know if you need me to.

BTW, left our camera at a relatives this past weekend so I cannot take pics, but can give you a detailed description that should be enough for you to decide if you want to see it or not.

I think it is remarkable that it is a Cutlass Convertible, not a Cutlass Supreme Convertible. Supremes are much more common, and about 3x more were made.

If you wouldn't mind looking at it, if it's not too far of a drive for you. I'm looking for something I could drive and work on as needed. A description would be fine. Thanks.

Didn't the description up top say C/S Convertible?
Isn't that a Cutlas Supreme?

ok, here we go.........looked at the car earlier this afternoon....

car is white with white top and baby blue vinyl interior. buckets, column AT, factory AC. 60,813 orig miles, owner says he can prove it. This is a supreme. I heard it run...sounds really good, no knocking, tapping, etc. under the hood is also pretty clean and not butchered up. Top needs replacing but works fine. has a toggle installed to the left of the drivers seat for the top - he does not know why the original top switch doesn't work.

Now the body....doors and front clip decent, qtrs decent but bubbling around the wheelwells. trunk needs work around the top rim, weatherstripping is missing, which makes it worse when it rains, Im' sure. I did not look under the trunk mat but i don't think the trunk flr is bad. Underside is really nice - frt flrs good, frame excellent, which is tough to find on any unrestored '67 cutlass, could not see the back flrs and didn't want to crawl underneath the car. chrome is driver cond.

I have pics - if anyone would like to see them drop me a pm with your email and i'll forward them to you.

And according to my conv with him today, he is now @ $5000 on it. And it is something you could drive as long as it's not raining/snowing.
