66 jetstar 88 4 dt hardtop parts car ?
Saw a 66 Jetstar 88 today with a 330 and th400 switch pitch trans.
thought these low end 88s came with 2 speed jetaways only? This car could be brought back to life but with the cost of body work and paint these days I believe it is a parts car at best . being that I have numerous 66 cutlass and 442 cars just interested in this for parts anyway. what parts ...if anything will interchange. I guess I need to check if the steelies are R code 442 Rims at least...wonder if the running th400 trans & 330 low compression eng is worth pulling. Anyway I am going back to look it over closer and if anyone needs something on the car let me know.

That was true for '64 at least, when the Jetstar 88 was first introduced. By '66, though, according to the '66 Dealer Specs Book, you could get either the 2-speed Jetaway or a Turbo-Hydramatic as automatic transmission options.
Thanks, thought it all looked original. Went back today and got the motor to fire so Purchased the complete running 330 with the th400 and three R code wheels for 450.00 Seller is parting the rest if anyone is looking for parts.
