66 f85 442

I really hate to see him do it but my best friend has got his 66 F85 442, bench seat, 4 speed for sale. He bought it new in 1966 and has kept it going ever since. I installed a real Mondello built (Joe actually built this one) 455. Since I installed the engine over twenty years ago the owner has put less than 5000 miles on it. It is Target Red with red interior. I made seat covers for it over 30 years ago and they are still like new. Not original pattern though. Wants $15,000, probably worth at least $25,000. PM me and I will re-direct to him. Located on Dallas Texas area. Forgot, it is a F85 Holiday.

Can you post pictures of it? I'm sure others will ask.

I don't have any pics, not sure if the owner has any but I'll find out. He isn't very computer savvy so I'll have to post them for him.

I talked to the owner yesterday and he is having second thoughts about selling. Sorry to get anyones hopes up. I have known this guy since 1972 and he has always been this way. One day he is wanting to sell and the next he doesn't. Again, I'm sorry but I shouldn't have posted until he was sure.

No problem, it's hard to sell something that you've had for that long.

Hello, ask him if he would sell without the engine. Thanks, Ken
