The bottom line jaunty75 you can't buy a car these day's, Anywhere for 2500 as fine as this, 4-Door or not. It is mechanically 100%. There's 20 year's of life left in this car depending how you take care of it. What is your expert appraisal on this ride, 2-3 hundred mabe?

I think your asking price is fine and fair. My point was and is that the market for these cars is small, and expecting to have it sold only two weeks after you had listed it was not necessarily realistic. Sure, you might have gotten lucky and found someone to snap it up right away. But more often than not, you have to be patient and wait for the right buyer to come along.
The bottom line is, as fine a condition as your car is in, how many more years of life it has left in it, etc., are not the only factors that determine how quickly it will sell. A car also has to be intrinsically collectible, and, as I said, four-doors are not as highly regarded in the collector car world as two-door coupes and convertibles. I didn't make this up. It's as basic a fact of life as there is.
I take it from the fact that you posted this message at all that your car is still unsold (and you felt the need to dump on me as a result). How widely are you advertising it? Certainly you need to be on craigslist as that's free, and everyone searches it. There are many other collector car selling sites as well. A car like this needs to be advertised far and wide with lots of photos. Park it in your driveway with a For Sale sign in the window. Etc.

I am a collector, I have 12 goat's in my stable. Sometimes i buy a olds. Go buy a car like this for 25. I think you don't have a clue. POP-N-OFF. What kind of collectors do you have a 78 convert, WOW. This is a very good car no matter what u say. I've been in this business of dealing cars for years and i've watched u on this site for the past 2 years have negative opinion about alot of peoples add's. If your not going to help the enthusiast by good feed back take a nap

Where have I once criticized you, your car, your ad, or anything? All I've ever said is that four-doors are less desirable amongst collectors than two doors, which is true and is something that you, as a "collector," ought to know, and you've turned me into a monster who does everything up to and including steal candy from babies. You need to grow up a little bit.
As far as having a "negative opinion" about other people's ads? So what? Get over it. If I see an ad with poor photos/no photos/not enough photos, not enough description or poor description, no price given, too high a price, or whatever, I'm going to say so. If you want only positive comments, go find a priest.
