1985 Calais Pace Car

Found this car in Newton, IL at Louis Oaks dealership. It's a good solid car with a very nice interior. Approx 46K miles. I don't have any photos but it can be found online. Not a show car but an honest survivor. Worst issues I found were a spotlight added and hood pins. Why the owner did those two additions I'll never know. Advertised at $6900 online but they will take much less. These come up from time to time but it could be a very nice example with some work. Just passing this along.

Dealership phone 800-541-6247. Ask for Louis. BTW, I've got nothing in this just figured it might find a good home to someone here.

I looked at the car in-person a couple of months ago - not good at all. Seats need reupholstering, passenger side door has a dent underneath the trim, passenger side door lock is punched out, paint is poor. It would need a full restoration.

Gee, I thought the selling point was the interior except for the A arm trim hole from the spotlight. While not a concours car, it was a very good example. I saw the dent on the pass trim too but it didn't effect the door fit or window function as it was direct on the plastic trim. It needs paint to make very nice but I didn't see any rust issues that makes it a hard restore. And nos hoods are available to fix the stupid pins situation.

Wow, tough crowd. I can't see restoring a car like that. If they come down a bit it'd make a nice little driver
