I like how it's a "Royal Broughmen." Sounds like a 1960s vocal group.
It always amazes me when people selling something as big ticket as a car can't even properly spell what they're selling. Makes you wonder what other aspects of the car they don't know anything about.
Yes, he'll go to his grave waiting for someone to pay him $15,000 for an '84 four-door sedan. The price guides put the value of a 1984 Oldsmobile Royal Broughmen in showroom condition at only about $4,300. Why would anyone pay almost four times that for one that isn't in that condition?
Of course, it does have four new tires. Maybe that's it.

And I thought the one at Fall Carlisle was overpriced. There was a beautiful 83-ish D88 moredoor with something like 5,000 miles on it for sale. A one-owner granny car, last driven in 1997. Unfortunately, the $6,500 asking price was still about three times what a low-option, green-on-green four door was worth.

Look at the driver's seat and the carpet dash. Seat shows wear and the carpet dash could be hiding cracks.

1985 base Royale grills (did it get whacked in the nose ?).
Funky looking bumper rub strips front & rear (may only be wax/polish residue - will need inserts re-striped at a minimum)
All the emblems appear to be MIA (cept' for the header & trunk lock).
Rear bumper possibly tweaked (could be a hint of more going on back there).
None of these would normally be deal breakers on a car of this age .....
But a high asking price increases one's expectations greatly.
Maybe they could get out a scrub brush & clean the blue off the new shoes for $15K as well.
