Exclamation 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass 50,000 original miles

Up for sale i have my 1972 Olds Cutlass s. it is an all original unmolested survivor car with 50,555 miles( that will go up, it is my daily driver.) it is a bucket seat center console car with an auto trans. The options incle power steering, air conditioning, and cruise control. i just had the front end rebuilt and a power disc brake conversion kit added. the transmission had a total external and internal re-seal and a b&m shift kit was installed. the car runs and drives great it is a good 3 ft car. I believe the paint to be original, its touched up in spots but it looks good and is shiny. it has a couple very minor dings here and there and no rust. i will take trades, i am looking for a stick shift car that is fun to drive particularly a foxbody mustang.

I thought I recognized that car. It was on ebay also back in August with the same mileage stmt. Nice car but not a survivor with the changes done to the brakes and trans. I think he means the body/paint and interior are original. Pretty strong money IMO

Interesting. Back in August for the ebay auction, the price was $11,000. Now it's 1.5 months later, the car obviously didn't sell, and the price is $12,000.

Allan is right. The latest issue (Sept/Oct 2012) of the Old Cars Price Guide puts the value of that car in the $8,000 range. It's a nice car, to be sure, but $12,000 nice? With paint touch up spots and dents and dings (however small)? I don't think so. For that money, the car should be in no less than showroom condition. It'll be interesting to see if it sells.
