Bid to $40k, & "The Bid Goes On." I would've expected it to go higher.

Is it me, or does that car sit really high?

Lots of things going on with that car, like it says it's a sunroof car, but never shows it, and the switch is not on the dash.

The switch in the roof, dead center in front of the sunroof.

And yes, that car has some issues. I grabbed its info and pics for the '72 H/O registry that I'm starting since nobody has done that for the past 50 years. It'll join my SX455 registry (along with Alan Reedy) and V Code registry as long term projects.

There are two more '72 H/O hardtops going through the auction on later days. One of them belongs to Mopar titan Tim Wellborn..

No mention of it being numbers matching. It definitely sits higher than it should, has top post battery. Nice looking car, but these H/O’s have been terribly undervalued forever. They seem to be stuck in the $35k-$50k price range.

Many, if not most, used the stock convertible switch in the stock location.

I retract the "if not most", it seems that it was common either way based on looking at different ones on the net.

I had a 72 Hurst Olds back in 75 and it had factory air shocks in the back. The Schrader Inflation Valve was behind the rear plate.
